I was looking to buy a decent digital camera for ages, as I am developing a new website for porcelain dolls. The shots had to come out really good for close ups.
The price has just come down on the Kodak DC280 by about £100 so I bought it. When I opened the package though I realise that there was not a 20 Meg memory card as stated on the box, but only an 8 meg card. Apparently they only give an 8 meg card now, which is not really enough, as you can only get 12 or so really good pictures with that.
The pictures that came out were stunning though. In fact, they looked even better than the reality, as the camera seems to distort the colours ever so slightly for the better. The USB transfer was also very quick.
I have to admit that the battery life is terrible. We were taking pictures for about 25 minutes before the batteries stopped.
I highly recommend this camera providing you get an extra memory card, and a DC adaptor.

Good start, but more detail needed.

More detail on how this works would be really helpful.
