I received this camera as a gift and I certainly can't complain. It takes excellent pictures and displays them well on the good sized screen on the back. You are given the option to zoom in to have a better look at your picture and then delete it if you are unsatisfied. It includes up to a 3x zoom when taking the picture and has features specifically for scenery pictures and also for closeups such as flowers and art.
To zoom, all you need to do is slide a button back and forth. Turning the camera on and off involves the sliding of another button and most things are self explanatory. If you find difficulty with any aspects, the manual is very clear and helpful.
Another pleasing feature for myself is the option to take pictures in black and white which I have found fun to experiment with. Pictures may also be taken in sepia, which is like an antiqued effect. Document style makes text stand out, which may be of use for some. Borders may also be added.
There is a knob on the back of the camera that also allows you to change the brightness and contrast of pictures to see them with more ease.
You have the option to turn on the date stamp if you wish this to appear on your photos. You can vary the quality of photo you want, including resolution, exposure and sharpness.
The camera comes complete with a lens cap, which is detachable from the camera. It also includes aneck strap to avoid dropping the camera, but again, this may be removed if desired. All connnection cables are included, so pictures may be transferred to the PC.
The camera comes complete with an 8MB memory card, but I have bought a 64MB card to allow for more pictures to be stored. Memory cards are reasonable from Ebay and such for this type of camera. The software also helps you to edit pictures before developing them.
This camera heeds an expansive range of features, more than I can mention.
The camera cost roughly £160 which I think is exceptional value for money.
My only complaints of this camera are the way it drains batteries very quickly if using the screen to view pictures too often and its slightly larger size. It still fits perfectly well in a medium handbag. Overall a very reliable and pleasing camera.
