I have recently purchased the Kodak Easy share 5300 to replace my Hp Photo smart, this was due to the rising costs in ink cartridges. The ink for this model cost a very reasonable £6.99 for black and £9.99 for colour.
This model is white with a pleasing silver trim and is not too bulky for the average household. It has a 100 sheet main tray fot general printing and a 20 sheet (4x6) photo tray which you need to push in to change to photo printing. It can scan documents up to A4 size, and produces high resolution (4x6) photos in as little as 28 seconds. There is also the option of using this printer "wireless" via Bluetooth, this is an optional extra which I shall probably be purchasing the near future.
It also comes with a colour and black cartridge included and a paper sample pack, an easy to follow set up guide, printer software, power supply and adaptor.
My family and I have used the printer quite a lot already, My daughter is a budding photographer so uses it to print the photos out from her photo shoots and she was impressed with the quality of the prints.
This model cost £95.00 from Currys but that was including 2 extra cartridge.
