When my old Kodak camera died, I had no choice but to have to buy a new one because I am, amongst other things, addicted to taking pictures. It's sad but true. I'm probably the kind of perosn who would buty one of those big-ass hardcore cameras with a SUPER ZOOM lens and a MASSIVE tripod if I had any disposable income at all. Being on a tight budget I went for the one that seemed to be the best value for money... plus it came with a free printer in Currys :-) hehe.
Anyway, back to the camera. I chose Kodak because I find the resulting picture quality of this brand to be far superior to many others. Something about the lighting is so much better for me. Some cameras, partuicularly that of a close friend of mine - when used in electric lighting (and sometimes in natural) give skin an orangey, shiny glow which I find makes for very unattractive pictures. Kodak, on the other hand tend to have superior clarity, particularly in natural lighting - see the picture below which I find impressive - your opinion may differ but as I am an amateur of limited means, I am easily satisfied.
It's an 8.2 Megapixel, so good for the price. On the other hand this does mean you won't fit more than about 8 photos on the internal memory, and you are almost definitely gonna have to buy a memory card - this camera is SD compatible.
The downside is that when you turn to flash off in a lighting that the camera deems to need flash, you must hold your hands extremly still or you will get a blurry picture - what is it about these digital cameras that can't handle non-flash pictures?
i was quite disappointed by the fact that the optical zoom is only 3X - there is little use for digital zoom being menitoned as this can be done by cropping an orginal photo. It beggars belief why the manufacturers think a high digital zoom number is going to entice anyone to buy a digital camera. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps complete novices don't realise that the picture quality depletes just as enormously as cropping it in photoshop would, and therefore all the pre-buying pschobabble may confuse them into thinking that this actually makes it a better camera. Right, let's end this little rant about digital zoom here.
I have rated the instruction manual satisfactory, because, to be honest, I never get past the first page. I prefer to explore functions as and when I need/want them. I have had flick through but the camera is so easy to use that I find only complete technophobes need seek its guidance.
Advantages: Cheap, great quality , really user friendly Disadvantages: none as yet
...also be linked to a kodak easy share printer dock and pictures printed at by the touch of a button on the camera.
Also i use recharable battery but the battery life seem to be longer on this camera than other i have used.
In conclusion this camera represent absolute value for money - it manages topack in many feature but still stay simple enough to be user friendly for even the biggest novice. ...

Advantages: Cheap, clear, amazing flash quality! Disadvantages: doesnt always turn on with one touch - not a big deal
...you too sign up to Kodak website and upload pictures, but just un-tick the pre ticked boxes if you don't wish to go ahead! The pictures transfer from camera to PC very quickly indeed and you then have a great little photo editing programme installed via Kodak for you to have a play with.
Id give this camera a solid 9/10 it is easy to use, has great menu option available and battery life is best I have seen, it takes quick pictures and doesn't delay ...

Advantages: cheap, light, easy to use Disadvantages: pictures are not perfectly sharp
Kodak EasyShare C813 I bought this camera one year ago. I needed something cheap and good for short holiday. I paid about £70 and now I can tell it is nothing special. If you want a good camera it is better to pay double and get something better. (This summer I will buy a good camera) I will keep this one for parties because I will not have to worry if I loose it, scratch it or damage it. This camera has many differant settings and modes for differant ... ...specialy if the object is moving. I was trying to take a picture of the firewarks but unfortunately the pictures taken in the middle of the night are not so good. You can also take pictures in sepia and black and white but it is nothing special now. The battery life is good enough. The screen is not so good quality though. The whole camera is plastic so do not try to drop it! Maybe that is why it does not look so solid . It is quite light and it ...

I bought it on December 2007 and I have used it ever since. It takes great quality photos with 8.1 Mega Pixels and saves them onto a memory stick. When you turn it on it asks you to set the date and time. After that it is ready to take pictures. In the Auto setting the photos look fantastic, the colour is rich and it is sharp. The shutter button has 2 stages, press it halfway and it auto-focuses then press it fully to take the picture. It shoots ... ...mode you choose different scene settings that go with your situation, they are great but I'd rather just leave it on Auto. The video mode is good, it takes average VGA quality videos (640x480) or you can set it to take 320x240 pixels to save space. They both are 3gp quicktime files so you can't edit them so easily. The camera has a microphone to record sound but when you play them on the camera, the camera doesn't have a speaker so you have to put ...

Advantages: it has a wide range of different features and the picture quality is not bad. Disadvantages: the camera can eat battery quite fast as well as the fact it sometimes freeze with the lens open
Kodak easy share camera saw it on the Tesco’s website and was reading the reviews on the product there was some very good reviews and I was looking for a good camera and the reviews prompt me to but the camera, although I don’t always read the review this time I decided to.
Bought the camera and it was working fine, it was pretty neat, comfortable to carry in the handbag and so forth, not the big sort of camera, it was pretty easy to use as well ... ...camera has some pretty good features that I want such as the image stabilization, auto focus, it had 7.5 zoom, it didn’t have much internal memory so you would need to buy a memory card for the camera.
The next day turn the camera on to take some pictures and the camera wouldn’t take any photo saying battery was low, so I went and got some new batteries for the camera, same make batteries as the camera. The camera came on and took one picture as ...
