I bought the M1073 IS about 6 months ago. It has 10.2 megal pixels and is very light and compact. It has a big range of picture options including setting for taking pictures of Children, Snow, Beach, Sport and Panoramic. The picture quality is good when the pictures are taken during the day but I found when trying to take pictures of my son indoors that I had to be very near him as, although the flash seems quite bright, the pictures come out very dark which is a real shame as it lets the camera down. The quality of the pictures on the screen do not look very good but once they are transferred onto a computer or printed they are actually good quality. I previously had a Sony Cybershot camera with only 5 mega pixels and to be honest the picture was about the same if not better than the pictures I get from this camera. I would recommend this camera as it is quite cheap and easy to use but if you want really good quality pictures I personally would have stuck with a Sony Cybershot.
