This is a great little camera for beginners in the digital field, and being so small and light, even for ambitious children. It is very easy to use and it doesn't take long to get used to the controls and settings. When it is switched on, it is set on high quality, so it is ready to point and shoot.

The specifications are, as given by Kodak;
64 high quality or 128 e-mail quality pictures
up to six 10 second motion clips (no sound)
640 x 480 (VGA) resolution pictures
Burst mode (five pictures per second)
10 second timer (to let you get into the pic)
Macro lens
Three metre USB cable
Webcam
4 x AAA batteries are included

I have had my EZ200 for about six months now, and apart from taking normal pictures, I have found it to be very handy on one or two occasions, having it in the glovebox after witnessing an accident for instance. When I first got it, I took it almost everywhere with me, as it was so easy to use. Living in the Highlands, one scene can produce so many different pictures depending on light, weather conditions, etc. I once used it whilst driving through Glencoe, just holding it on the steering wheel, and got some great shots with it. The biggest advantage is being able to load the pics into the pc when you get home, selecting the ones you want to keep. No more waiting for the film coming back from the developers or paying extra for the one hour developing service.
Another advantage is the use of AAA bateries which can be bought anywhere, unlike my other camera which has a battery that is a little hard to find, unless you go to a camera or specialist shop.

I have noticed that it is not very good when it's dull, the pics coming out very dark, so I stopped taking pics on dull days, (who wants a picture of rain anyway?). No doubt these could be enhanced a little if you fiddle about with the settings on the pc.

Even though this camera does not have a flash, indoor pics do come out acceptable, I was rather surprised by the quality when I took my first pic with it, of my son sitting on the floor reading the newspaper trying to look disinterested. He soon perked up when he seen the image come up on the pc.

It also doubles as an excellent webcam, sitting on the little blue stand supplied with it. Having 3 metres of USB cable allows you to take the camera around the room with you, a great advantage if you happen to want to show a contact a certain feature of your room or whatever.

I would recommend this to anyone wishing just to have a camera that you can pick up, switch on and shoot. It's as easy as that. My only regret is that I forgot to take it on holiday with me.

Should anyone want to see the quality of the pics, please feel free to e-mail me and I will send a couple for your inspection.

O.K. sorry folks, hope this works. I got mine for £75 from an online auction. I believe they retail around £90 - £100, £89.99 in Argos for instance. Hope this helps with your decision.
