I recieved this camera as a gift and at first i was very happy with it, the camera i have is the black version not the silver. The camera is a little bit on the bulky side, but it has many good points!!
firstly the camera is very easy to use, the camera comes with very good instructions but i found it alot easier to just fiddle around with it to find the ins and outs of the camera.
The camera comes with a carry handle, a stand and the usb wire to connect your camera to your computer.
The camera is very easy to connect to the computer you just turn the camera on then plug the wire into the camera then to your computer and straight away the camera is set up to your computer and it gives you the option to save the pictures to your computer or to save in individual files.
once the camera is turned on it gives you mant different settings for the best results for each setting. for example theres a video setting to record both motion and sound, then there is digital image stabilization, which is used to minimise the effects of camera shakes or sudden movements, then there is a close up setting to be used if the subjects closer than 28inches(70cm) .
you can also have different albums on your camera such as a favourites album. you can edit pictures whilst still on the camera, you can have a slide show of all your images, a multi-up to view more than one picture at a time, you can also put a lock on images you wish to keep and not to be deleted by mistake.
one thing i found out myself was when i went to the mtv awards in liverpool echo arena it was a once in a life time experience and yes my camera let me down. this camera is battery operated so i bought myself two lots of AA bateries ready for the awards, so once there i started taking pictures and i found all my pictures where coming out very blared and fuzzy!! this has never happend before, so i tried to just carry on watching the show without getting mad at my camera but the next minute beyonce was performing and i went to take a picture and yes my batteries went, so i quickly changed my batteries and they worked for the next ten minutes and then died.
i really dont understand why my camera just stopped working, so once i got home i placed my images onto my laptop and all but two images where blurred, and ever since that day my camera does not stay on for any longer than 15minutes, so yes i would recomend this camera but after 12 months the camera isnt as good as it once was.
