...was interested in, but the Kodak EasyShare C663 was the only one that I would recieve before I left. I found it listed in the Argos catalogue for £180, well above my budget, but only £100 on eBay.

I put the battery on charge with a charger that came with the package and had a look at my new camera.

...for what was available. The Kodak EasyShare C663 was the cheapest one available with 6.0 mega-pixels.
I was impressed with how easy the camera was to use. I didn't even have to read the instructions and i was taking pictures and editing them with the built in edit feature within minutes of getting it out of the box.
I was also impressed with the fact that you can change how many mega pixels are used for each photo. I have a 256mb memory card which ... ...1.1 mp allows it to store 391 pictures.
This came in handy as when memory space was running out i just selected a lower mega-pixel setting.
It comes with all the leads to connect to your pc/laptop and the photo transfer is also a simple process.
I have been really impressed with the camera and would recommend it to any armature photographer. The camera has definitely improved my picture taking ability. ...

Although it doesn't look as smart or slimline as some others like Sony its size does make it easier to use as you can get a good grip on it which means you take better pictures and you don't drop it! The screen is a decent size, 2.5 inches on the diagonal- not as big as on Sony but you can see everything you need to and also use it to view your pictures comfortably afterwards.
