I originally bought this camera to use over the summer for trips out, holidays etc because it was reasonably cheap and had been recommended by a friend. I was fairly sceptical at first about how the quality would measure up compared to some of the more expensive cameras i've had in the past, but my doubts were unfounded and I was pleasantly surprised with the camera :)
The picture quality of the camera is excellent, and I found it really easy to use (being far from a technological wizard). It has lots of settings which are easy to put into place, such as lighting and for reducing movement (I've used it at a bouncy castle party and the pictures are excellent!).
Ive also found the camera to be really durable, the number of times ive dropped it in the middle of a busy dancefloor and the camera has survived without a scratch.
The camera is an okay size, can be a wee bit bulky at times but i usually manage to fit it into a smallish handbag.
One thing I would recommend, however, would be to buy a memory card to go with it. You can get these pretty inexpensively and they are really useful if you want to store the pictures at the highest quality. (The memory is not too shabby though if you dont mind taking pictures at lower image quality).
Oh, and also I would recommend taking some time to play around with some of the features on the camera before taking it out. The instruction manual is okay for the basics but I found it expects you to pick up the rest yourself.
But all in all, a great camera, great value for money.
