The kodak CX 7300 is a very good digital camera for first time users. It is easy t handle as it is only small. Great to carry around in a bag for those spontaneous pictures.
The Kodak CX 3700 comes with a Kodak software package which allows you to edit your photos. Create fon and cartoony pictures at the click of a button. You can print them using the software and can also e-mail them direct.
You also get to sign up for online prints and photo albums so you can share your pictures with other people and order them to be printed and delivered to your door.
The batteries last very well in the camera.
However, the zoom isn't particularly good if you are wanting to take a close up picture but still keep all the detail as it becomes out of focus so doesn't print well.
All in all it is a very good camera to have if you are young and starting out with photography.
The average cost of the camera is £70 and can be bought in most high street stores which sell cameras.
With a 16mb memory ard in it it will store up to 200 pictures on the good setting, on best setting it will store 140.
The memory cards are very easy to put in and take out. It has built in memory which will alow you to take up to about 15 photos.
It will take 60 second videos but without sound.
Photos can be taken in Sepia mode (browns).
The flash has many settings, it will reduce red eye, automatic, specific flash for indoors and outdoors and light and dark.
You do get a wrist strap in the box so you don't drop it when using it.
It also comes with the connection base for the easyshare dock if you have that.
The instruction manual is a cd rom which gives good detail on how to get the best out of the camera.
I recently used it at Chester Zoo and the pictures of the animals came out great. A few of the photos where i used the zoom were a bit blurred as it needs an optical and digital zoom in order to keep the picture in focus.

Advantages: This camera is VERY esay to use. The latest version produces really bright clear pictures and the video clip function is now longer. The camera is small (compact) and light - making it ideal for taking on holidays, etc. Disadvantages: THe memory is not very large and it may be slightly fiddly for people with larger hands.
