I received the camera as a gift at christmas and found, to my delight that it could be used straight away as everything was included, which includes the batteries. The batteries were good for just over 200 photos and various viewings.
The camera itself is a good looking camera and is compact enough to be useful. It sits in my hand nicley and is easy to hold when taking photos. Since I recieved this camera I have found that I don't use it that much anymore, partly because of the image quality which was fine when it was new but rather bad now, and partly because i dont find the time
The reasonable sized viewfinder makes it easy to see and the automatic flash with red eye removal is good for taking pictures of family.
It can also be docked to the easyshare dock or printer dock for easy image transfer and printing. The picture quality is good for the file size.
It accepts SD and MMC allowing for expansion but can also use the 16mb internal memory for photo storage and transfer photos with the supplied usb cable. I enjoy the simplicity and think it is a great introduction to digital photography. The bundled Kodak software makes it very easy to use and I just love to use this software as it makes the upload so much easier, and you can arrange the photos and edit the photos but this is not that powerful a tool for image editing. It is also very small and easy to transport. I have found many times I need to put it into my pocket and it fits nicely.

Advantages: This camera is VERY esay to use. The latest version produces really bright clear pictures and the video clip function is now longer. The camera is small (compact) and light - making it ideal for taking on holidays, etc. Disadvantages: THe memory is not very large and it may be slightly fiddly for people with larger hands.
