This is my first digital camera. I bought it for quick snapshots. I've had this camera for only one week, but I didn't even have to read the manual to figure out how to use it! After looking at dozens of cameras that have more options, I decided on this one because it is fairly intuitive to use for a non-expert. The battery life seems to be excellent--I took about 50 photos one day & only used about 1/3 of the battery. If you get the printer dock with it, you don't even have to remove the batteries from the camera to recharge--they recharge as you transfer the pictures to your computer. Also, the printer dock and Kodak software are fairly easy to use. The software is VERY basic, but it took care of red-eye more easily than some of the sophisticated editing programs. The prints I've made, while relatively expensive, have been clear & accurate.
I just used a card reader to open the images as I found the supplied software a little top heavy {over the top}
A lovely intro camera which I know I will use a lot for snap type pictures,anything more complicated eg.landscapes arty-farty stuff I would invest a bit more money.
All in ALL a very good camera for the price,I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it
