This camera is stylish, lightweight and economical. I paid £80.00 for this camera at Currys and I believe it has been worth every penny so far. The fact it has 8.2 megapixels means that you can zoom in on images and edit them very effectively. The front of the camera, in myopinion, looks like it's rival: the sony cybershot. The cybershot doesn't have as many Megapixels, and therefore doesn't produce as good quality images as this does. I would add also that the screen is fantastic for viewing images instantly after they have been taken, and the camera is also easy to charge; a mains charger is provided in the box. Kodak really have impressed me with all the different settings on the simple wheel on the top of the camera. Examples include:
-Auto: Used for general picture taking
-Digital image stabilization: Makes sure that the image you take is not blurry.
-Close up: Used for subjects close than 28 inches (70cm)
-Portrait: Used for full frame photos of people or other subjects
-High ISO: Capturing images in low light conditions is completed easily.
- Video The only disadvantage I can see with this camera is that it doesn't posess a lot of internal memory, however, most digital cameras don't. A memory card should be purchased to slot into the side of the camera, because the internal space isn't sufficient.
I would recommend this digital camera to a first time digital camera buyer as it is easy to use and good quality for money. Or similarly, a student that requires a stylish and lightweight digital camera for uploading images onto the computer.
Advantages: Easy to use, liteweight, pocketable Disadvantages: Haven;t found any
...You can also buy an Kodak easishare docking station where you can print direct. If you take a picture and it goes wrong (your fault) then one button and its gone! Very lightweight and compact and easily fits in your bag or pocket. I am not a technical person and find some gadgets difficult, but this little camera - even I can do!Charging up doesn't take too long and then off you go and experiment with it - great fun. Battery seems to last a long ... ...pixels and has a HD still capture, you can choose whether to use the flash, but it does come on automatically when the camera thinks you need it. Without a memory card you can only have 11 pictures, but I have a 1 gigabyte memory card (SD) and so can have hundreds on it, then you can either use the lead to upload onto your computer or just extract the memory card and slot into your computer or printer. You may take a picture like an ordinary camera ...
