The Kodak Easyshare printer dock is an amazing portable printer you can take with you anywhere you go and prints pictures in less than 5 minutes! It's so great and handy you wont ever want to or have to pay to get your pictures developed or printed again. The pictures are printed on high-quality photograph paper you will have to purchase separately, but as a starter kit, you will get a set of paper and ink cartridges included with the printer. p You can print as many pictures as you like, as you long as you have enough paper and ink. Another thing I found interesting is that you can watch as the picture is printed; all four phases: yellow ink, red ink, magenta ink, and finally, the finishing gloss. And there you have it: a nice crisp picture. You can now give as gifts, keep for yourself in an album, or do whatever you please because Kodak now gives you the advantage of having almost instant pictures at the touch of a button. It's literally that easy. No need to be an expert. Only downside to the do-it-yourself printer is that the ink runs out quickly, after printing about 15 pictures or so, and of course, that expense comes out of your pocket and its not very cheap. Every negative thing has an advantage though: the ink cartridges come along with the paper and you can choose between two packages: 80 sheet count, two cartridges, or 40 sheet count, one cartridge. Obvviously the price is proportional too.

Welcome ~~ it does seem expensive to only print 15 pictures when it provides paper for 40 ~ does it ever print the full 40? or do you have to use the paper in a different printer?

Review was ok, but a little hard to read. What is the cost of the paper and ink of the printer ?

Agree with Strood RE the detail but an interesting and well written review. If after looking at others work you are inspired to write more I would again echo Strood's pledge to re-rate. I think it is a fantastic gadget to take to the more remote parts of the world and watch the faces of children when you give them perhaps the first picture they have seen of themselves - I have done so with good old poloroid but this is a new level. Welcome to Ciao - please write again soon as you promise in your 'about me' line.
