Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3

UPDATE 26/9/11 I have only used this a few times, I am still on the pack of ten sheets that came with it, AND IT HAS STOPPED PRINTING AT ALL. Oh well, at least it still charges and transfers. These are rubbish, dont buy.I bought this as I saw a special offer that was nearly the same price as a non printing dock - 46 pounds back in 2008.All I really needed was a dock that would charge my camera and make it easier to transfer pictures to the computer at the same time.This fits the bill perfectly, you sit the camera on the dock (in the adaptor that came with your camera, in my case the Z812 IS) ... more

Having owned this product for just over a year I can safely say it is pretty much useless! There are several things wrong with this product which makes it just a complete waste of money. First of all the Dock is designed so you can download your pictures from your digital camera to your computer and also print off your favourites, bypassing a computer, onto glossy photo paper. The dock only takes Kodak digital cameras models: CX 6000/7000, DX 6000/7000 and LS600/700. The Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock series 3. Great Piece of equiptment. The dock allows you to print images from a Kodak Camera (Kodak Easyshare C310) Whcih is the camera whcih I am using with this. Aswell as this, this iswhat the camera charges from, if you havent got a mains plug for the camera via the USB point on the camera. Ink catridges can simply be added and removed for the side. I have know Kodak brand since i was kid and my family believe Kodak brand is one of the best brand for this product. Have had the Kodak EasyShare Printer Dock Series 3 printer for about 2 years and am absolutely deilighted with it. I have the camera which goes with it and by sitting the camera on the dock this allows me to charge the camera and download pictures onto my PC or print straight from the camera. Has a USB cable to connect to a PC and the paper and ink comes in a handy consumables pack which has both ink and the right amount of paper for the ink. THe picture quality is great and there is no problem with the photos losing colour after a while as can happen with some at home photo printers. Great ... more
