    Well guys and girls, this is my first review in months. I'll do my best to explain the item rather than confuse with technobabble.. (Drum roll please!) ..... Without further a do I'll begin.... Like a lot of people, I'd consider myself an amateur at photography and camera purchasing. You can imagine my surprise when a chance visit to a major electrical retailer made me feel like I went from novice to expert in 20 minutes....     This camera is well worth £139 i paid but no more.good photos crisp and clear.zoom very good.nice to hold.the drawbacks.screen useless in bright sun light.camera body reflecks to much sunlight.button for taking photos too sensitve a small ridge in front of this button would have solved this.Takes to long to save photos.A rubber lense cap would have been better to stop this cap banging around when taking movies.Cheap crap cover for usb and power inserts a slide and lock cover would have been great

    This camera is a good basic high megapixel camera, but with a few annoying features. Positives ------------ One of my favourite things about the camera is that when you change the mode of photo, text appears on screen of what the mode is (i.e. winter mode for bright snow scenes). Excellent picture quality, although with 6.1m pixels it is hard to get a bad quality at this level. Pictures are sharp though, and colours strong. The zoom function seems 'quick' which I like, it can zoom in and out at quite a speed which some may find useful. I haven't dropped it yet - but if i did, it looks like it ... more
