The camera is idiot proof, the on/off/fave button is a slide on the top, the flash and lens come out automatically (unless you keep a lens cap over ... ...quick on/off flip fixes all )
Also, the range of choice on the automatic settings are super simple and AMAZING.
Snowing outside? no problem. fireworks? theres a seperate button for it. One for self portraits for the vain among us, one for fast movement and many many more.
and for the experienced photographer, the manual setings are just as easy to find, navigate and apply. 4 types of flash (not including no flash), 10times optical ... more

Advantages: SLR look, High megapixel resolution, great features, easy to use, quite lightweight Disadvantages: Bulky, slow shutterspeed, lense cap tends to come off, have to manually put flash down
...and I've been loyal to Kodak for many a year now but one thing they've never really got right is the shutter speed.
It's painstakingly slow to take a picture of something moving on the Z710 as by the time you've actually taken to picture the subject has moved away,.
Apart from that I don't really see anything else wrong with it though it is a bit bulky and is worth buying a case.
I use this camera for basic PhotoShop and the inevitable Holiday ...

...with a cam's technicalities) about Kodak Easyshare Z710. The best thing I love about it is the resolution of the pictures when I uploaded it in my Multiply or Facebook accounts. As per manual, the range of image sizes are 3072 X 2304, 3072 X 2048,2592 X 1944, 2048 X 1536, 1600 X 1200, though I don't really know what these figures mean. The pictures look so great especially when printed on my favorite Mitsubishi photo paper on either silk or glossy. ... ...It comes with a Kodak Easyshare Software, Getting Started Kit and a custom camera insert for the optional Kodak Easyshare Camera and Printer Docks. And you can also email pictures directly from the camera if connected to the pc (though I haven't tried this). I am not techie so I just do the conventional way of uploading pictures which is by using a memory reader. I've got to explore more on the features of this digital camera. ...

Advantages: Easy to use even with limited or reduced use of hand movement. Disadvantages: Not a slim line camera, therefore slightly more difficult to carry around.
I purchased this camera after a lot of reviewing and investigating the cameras available. I eventually had a list of attributes that I would ideally want from a camera. Armed with my short-list I ventured out. Due to limited mobility and feeling in my hands I had to physically try the cameras on my short-list. Even with my disabilities I could hold this camera easily with one hand. The grip was comfortable and large enough to fit into my palm, giving ... ...depressed by either thumb or a finger. It was easier to operate and hold than any other camera I tried, and I tried a significant number of them!
After purchase I realised what a super camera this is. It was simplicity itself to set it up, down-load to a pc, and the instruction manual was really easy to understand, with large print and clear diagrams. No squinting here!
How happy am I? Delighted. I cannot recommend this camera enough, its opened ...

Advantages: Fantastic battery life, fantastic pictures. Disadvantages: Software a little too confusing.
I have had the pleasure of owning this camera for around 6 months now. Before i purchased this camera i thought that all digital camera's were the same, boy how wrong was i!!!
I purchased it and took it home, opened the box and found the usual goodies, battery, camera, lead , software , registration pack etc....
It was a doddle to set up, so simple and easy, i registered the camera online with Kodak, and when i plugged the camera in my computer ... ...a 512 MB card in it which holds approx 250 on full settings.
It has a wide range of normal settings and of course the "Auto" setting, but if your feeling more adventurous then you can use the manual settings which include focus and shutter speed settings.
The quality of the pictures is amazing and the battery life is fantastic!!! ...

This is a brilliant all round digital camera, it is very easy to use, takes very good photographs and video. I have had my one for a year now and always being complimented on my photo's.
There are a lot of features to this camera, it has a dial that you select what picture taking mode you require, e.g. Auto, Night time, sporting and video. Takes a SD cards and a 1GB card will let you take loads of photo's as well as a couple of short video's at ... ...has a 10X optical zoom also, which allows the amateur photographer some very good close up shots, used on Auto I have had lovely photo's in the garden, of flowers and the wildlife, the sporting shots are also very good, at my sons football I have had some superb action shot's, even good enough to get on the web site!
The video mode is great for going to live gig's with, you can get loads of photo's as well as a few video songs sung live! The quality ...
