This is a brilliant all round digital camera, it is very easy to use, takes very good photographs and video. I have had my one for a year now and always being complimented on my photo's. There are a lot of features to this camera, it has a dial that you select what picture taking mode you require, e.g. Auto, Night time, sporting and video. Takes a SD cards and a 1GB card will let you take loads of photo's as well as a couple of short video's at the best pixels! It has a powerful zoom and has a 10X optical zoom also, which allows the amateur photographer some very good close up shots, used on Auto I have had lovely photo's in the garden, of flowers and the wildlife, the sporting shots are also very good, at my sons football I have had some superb action shot's, even good enough to get on the web site! The video mode is great for going to live gig's with, you can get loads of photo's as well as a few video songs sung live! The quality of the video is very good, the only drawback is you cannot zoom in after you have started taking the video, so you have to set the closeness before you begin recording. Not for the professional but great for the keen amateur. One of the better camera's that is not just a basic digital camera, an excellent all rounder. It can also use AA rechargable batteries which last all day and night when fully charged.
