Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS is the newest camera that the folks from Rochester produced. Now, this model has a 2.5 inch LCD display with 230.000 active pixels(its pretty sharp) and an view finder that shows 100% image frame. A bad point here is that the camera EVF was not equipped with a diopter adjustment.
It has an 12X Optical MegaZoom, so the focal range of the camera is large, you may benefit from wide to tele shots without concerns. The sensor ... ...× 2448 size picture. This more than enough for any amateur photographer.
The ISO ranges form auto, 64, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200, the last one can be reached only at 2.2MP.
For storage you get a 32 MB internal memory, SD/MMC card expansion slot.
The Z812 IS faces some pretty stiff competition from other companies, but it deserves a look-up. ...
