Advantages: WiFi capability, large touch screen LCD, huge album capacity Disadvantages: Poor picture quality in certain light
...The EasyShare one was announced by Kodak in 2005 and made quite a splash. It was the first Wi-Fi enabled digital camera on the market to date. After long delays in production the ES1 was available for purchase from October and to be honest (God knows why) made a mere plop rather than the splash intended.
The KodakEasyShare One is a 4MegaPixel camera with 3x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch touchscreen, relatively high quality, LCD display.
The EasyShare one is very good as both a camera and a portable photo album with scope to store up to 1,500 photos in each folder. That aside, the camera's best feature is undoubtedly it's wireless capabilities. The camera can connect (wirelessly) to computers, laptops and WiFi printers as well as Kodak's 'point and share web' feature - which allows you to upload photos direct from your camera...

Advantages: good menu lighting options and zooming Disadvantages: lens often pops off.
...This camera Kodak Z710 is easy to set-up and use immediately. Personally I was looking for a camera which had a lot of features and easy to print (at a press of a button). Depending on the size of the memory card the camera can store a lot of photos. Another reason why I bought this camera is because I am a keep scrapbooker and as it was easy to set-up it was perfect! However the main problem is I now have so many photos to put in my scrapbook!!
As the camera has a good amount of pixals I can zoom in and the quality of the photo is still good. The menu screen on the camera is vast and it gives the user the choice of various lighting or events (such as party, beach, children, indoors, snow) etc - for the user to gain the best results from their picture. Also included with the camer is KodakEasyshare software....

Advantages: Reasonably small and light, little shutter lag, good computer sync Disadvantages: A little bulky sometimes, small LCD, no zoom during videos, eats batteries
... KodakEasyshare Z740 Digital Camera
I purchased the KodakEasyshare Z740 Digital Camera from Amazon for around £150 new in December 2005. It arrived as specified, with the following in the box:
* The camera (always a good start)
* A non-rechargable camera battery
* A strap for the camera
* A lens cap
* A lens hood
* USB and Video cables
* KodakEasyshare dock adapter
* KodakEasyshare software on CD-Rom
* A quick-start guide and full length manual
I was impressed by the size of the camera - a lot smaller than I had imagined.
Pros
These are the pros of this camera from my point of view:
* Small (for it's capabilities)
* Reasonably light
* Not much shutter lag
* Electronic Viewfinder - I found this better than a traditonal viewfinder
* Basic point-and-shoot
* Advanced options as well
* Good synchronisation with Easyshare...

An sxcellent and very compact bit of kit, the only drawback I have encountered is the design of the outer casing which lacks an easy and natural grip possition making the camera less comfortable in the hand than others I have used.

This is an excellent camera at an amazing price. The lens is superb, and produces outstanding images. I used to have a Canon G7 and the images from the Kodak are so much better. A full range of shooting modes are available, including movie mode, as well more
After watching dozens of adverts for digital cameras on the t.v. we realised that our 3 and a half year old (but much loved) Kodak CX6330 was probably a bit out of touch. I will admit to being extremely nervous about making a 'wrong' choice as... more
