harry potter

Advantages: great film
Disadvantages: n/a

I am a huge Harry Potter I watched the first film and from there I liked it so much I read the books. As much as I love the film I think you miss out on so much if you do not read the books as there is so much more detail in them that I think the film is lacking. J K Rowling is a great author and deserves all the glowing reports that she gets she has really captures this well. Harry Potter and the Prisoner is the adaptation of the third book Harry Potter. Harry Potter played by Daniel Radcliffe Hermione Granger played by Emma Watson Ron Weasley played by Rupert Grint Professor Snape played by Alan Rickman Professor McGonagall played by Dame Maggie Smith Hagrid played by Robbie Coltrane Sirius Black played by Gary Oldman It stars the actors from the preceding films in the series, except for the role of Albus Dumbledore ...

harry potter

Advantages: great
Disadvantages: na

Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, this is the first installment of the Harry Potter films of the great series by J K Rowling, I had watched this film and then decided to read the book, I then read the rest of the books before the films and I cannot believe the bits that are missed out there is so much more description in the books than the films. But I do realize that the film would last a long time if they put all the details I, but as a film it was great, if you are not comparing it to the book. Harry Potter is played by Daniel Radcliffe a boy who lives with his aunt, uncle and cousin as his parents died when he was young and they have brought him up every since. A mysterious letter arrives one evening, delivered by a friendly giant Hagrid played by Robbie Coltrane. This letter is inviting Harry to join Hogwarts School ...

Review of Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone (DVD)

Harry Potter and the Successful Film Franchise

Advantages: Entertaining, fairly true to the book, Alan Rickman
Disadvantages: None, but the Half Blood Prince is better

Hi. I?m Charby, and I?m a Harry Potter geek. Ever since the first book in the series was published, Harry Potter has been a worldwide phenomenon whose popularity has grown and grown with each new book and each film adaptation. I?ve been obsessed with Harry since I was ten years old and my mam bought me The Philosopher?s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets paperbacks, and since then the release date of each new book was an event bigger than my birthday and Christmas rolled into one. The seventh and final book in the series was released in 2007, so to satisfy my thirst for more Harry I have been reading translations of the novels in different languages, and have also gotten quite into the films. Despite the fact that each film has a four star rating here on Dooyoo, I feel that each film has been better than the last, with this year ...
