At home after discovering my new videocamera, i have decided to look what have they presented me. I have begun to unpack the Kodak. The color of packing specifies already that the camera is made for children. Atleast i think so. On the packing is an drawing, ... ...film on which is written: Kodak 800 film; for use in Kodak single use cameras. There was a very simple mechanizm. I have dissembled it on details. Parts there is whole 19 parts inside.
Always when i'm looking at all these parts i think: what a big technological process has been made. Figures, breadboard models, the whole industrial conveyors. The heap of work. All this only to make 27 photos and to throw the camera away.

If honestly, i would never buy anything like that. In general such idea at all would not even come to my mind. It seems to me, that this camera is more intendet as a toy for children. It is not so terrible then if it will break.

At home after discovering my new videocamera, i have decided to look what have they presented me. I have begun to unpack the Kodak. The color of packing specifies already that the camera is made for children. Atleast i think so. On the packing is an drawing, which shows what types of these cameras exists: - ULTRA - ULTRA super flash - ULTRA sport (waterresistant) - ADWANTIX 2 formats.
Also on the packing is drawn the instruction, which consisting of two figures: 1. Shows how to overwind the roller to the following cadre; 2. Shows where is the button wich you must push to take the pictures.
After i opened the box i saw the camera packed in the plastic pocket. It was very difcuilt to unpack the pocket. It was not possible to make it only with hands. I have tried with my teeth. It did not help. With the help of BIG knife i have made it. Interesting how do the small childrens doing this. Have all children to take a knife??? Most likely, sooner or later the child will ask to help the parents. So i have got the camera out of the pocket and begined to examine it. The chamber consist of plastic (the hole camera to). It is beautifully wrapped up in a paper on which is drawn the instruction what button to press and what to twist. On other picture is drawn that people should be photographed on distance not less then 1 meter. On the side it is drawn that the camera cannot be wetted and that it is wrong to hold the camera for a long time on the bright sun. On the oder side i have noticed, that the working life has expired already two months ago. Then i have understood whi did they give me away 2 cameras so easily.
I have desided to take all 27 pictures whit one camera and to bring it to the same store. Also i have desided to unscramble the second camera and look what is inside. It was not so hard to make it. I have picked in four places and the cover has opened. Inside was a charged film on which is written: Kodak 800 film; for use in Kodak single use cameras. There was a very simple mechanizm. I have dissembled it on details. Parts there is whole 19 parts inside.

Day after i have brought the other camera to the photo store. To my surprise they have not refused to make the pictures. And the pictures are quite good. Quality coresponds to the price, but as whole it is not bad.
Advantages: Quick and Easy Disadvantages: Doesn't include processing
I bought a twin pack of these for my 14 year old neices. Knowing that 14 year olds aren't particularly careful with their belongings, ut seemed like a good idea.
The camera comes with 27 exposures and has a flash mode but takes a while to warm up. The cost was £9.99 for two.
The camera is simple to use, adjust to the type of photo you want i.e. classic or panoramic, then point and shoot.
The results are very good. Clear sharp images. We were all ...

Advantages: cheap.light, easy to use and produce excellent images Disadvantages: The disposability adds to waste rather than recycling.
...we bought a couple of Kodak Panoramic Disposable cameras - for Just in Case. I`m glad that we did. Day two of our turkish holiday was so hot that our usual family digital camera would not function correctly. We kept placing it in cooler areas and then it would work again - but ultimately it would cease to function. We had booked a boat trip and the scenery around the islands was advertised as being superb. We took the Kodaks but actually thought ... ...able to produce any memorable shots. Thankfully, we were wrong. Very wrong. The quality of the scenic shots was as good as you would get from something bigger, dearer or fancier. A superb, lightweight and cheap little camera has given us the visual memories which we would have missed. They are truly good and produce excellent images. If there is a thumb in your shot - blame yourself - not the little camera. ...

Advantages: cheap, disposable Disadvantages: quite a pricey option
This camera is great for a ball, party or drunken revel as it takes quite good photos on APS film and isn't the end of the world if it gets lost. Of course, that isn't the purpose of it. For a one off it is however quite expensive, especially considering the price of APS developing and processing. The two picture formats work well, and it is cheap and cheerful, serves its purpose but if you are a regular user of these, then you are better off getting ...
