...It's not an attractive looking printer but looks don't make it work. I have just received Canon ip3000 printer and a Kodak cx7430 digital camera as a Christmas present off my wife. I am only used to my old Desk Jet 400 printer (which still works). I hate having to learn about new equipment and seeing four ink cartridges set me into a panic. The Quick Start Guide instructions to the ip3000 are so simple to follow they are idiot proof. Loading the software onto the PC (using Windows 98) was easy - just put the cd in the drive, agreed the installation and the wizard took over. It works well with the Kodak easy share software that came with the camera. There is also the facility to print direct from a digital camera without having to load the images onto the PC. The quality of prints using Kodak Ultima Picture Paper and Epsom...

Advantages: Quick, easy and fun to use Disadvantages: Paper quality isnt the best

The only real drawback that I have found is that the paper for it isnt quite as glossy as some other photo paper...
