This was a fun camera that allowed my husband to capture a few moments when out and about near the water. The pictures, when printed, were of a good quality. We did buy another of these but then decided that they were a bit pricey but would buy them again if they were ever on offer eg buy one get one free. ...

Advantages: a lot of fun can be had actually taking the pics Disadvantages: the pics, when developed, are all too accurate
my word, we had some fun with the underwater camera this year.We took photographs of us swimming, lazing on lilos, splashing, doing underwater handstands and acrobatics, a comedy aquarobics session, trying to do syncronized swimming, you name it;if its done under or in the water, we did it...and photographed ourselves doing it.
The thing you forget about taking pictures in the water is that one day, you, and many others will actually SEE THESE PICTURES. ... ...cruel cruel water, will be captured on film. Your crazy japes that at the time seemed so funny, will end up looking like a girl with mascara under her eyes looking like a complete and utter fool, water is not a.the place to pose or b.the place to look your best.
Just a warning.
Vain people...BEWARE THE UNDERWATER CAMERA. ...

I spotted the Kodak underwater disposable camera and I thought it might be fun to try it out. I wasn't sure that the lifeguard would let me into the pool with it, but fortunately he did. I tried taking a few shots with it, and I was surprised by the results.
The photos that came out were quite high quality (I was pleased as I had to hold my breath for quite a long time waiting for someone to jump into the pool. I thought they might turn ... ...lighting was quite good.
There was a stronger than expected bluish tone to the photos, but I think that was more to do with the colour off the pool walls than the camera or even the water.
Being a disposable camera it's very convenient for point and click photos in or out of the water. Give it a try for fun, but don't expect the kind of results that you would get with an SLR camera.

Hi
I bought 5 of these camera's to use for my snorkling trip out to the great Barrier reef. I also had a Canon srl EOS Elan 7E (Not Digital) and a brand new Canon A75 (Digital). All stayed in my Camera bag as I had these cameras. It was a over cast day and rained a little. my photo's were poor none were worth saving. I had save years to go there from east coast of the USA and this was one of my highlights of going to Australia. I mostly stayed on ...

Advantages: Keep it with you on the beach, in the sea and the pool. Disadvantages: Dont just take this as your only camera
I loved this just come back off my holiday and had my picture done and i loved them. I went on holiday with a 14 month baby just learning to spash and got some lovely picture. I must admit that i was thinking for £8.00 that it would not really be high quality but i was really happy with it. The finsh of it looks a llittle cheep and cheerful but it did the job. Because you knew it was water proof you could get some really diffrent pictures and for ... ...or if i lost it unlike with my normal camera.
My godson (age 5) loved it and it made him jump in which for him is normaly a no go. Try taking your photo under water its really funny. But would not say that i would of been happy if this was the only camera i had taken but for some fun diffrent photos its great!!!!! ...
