If you use hair straighteners or curling tongs or Hair dryers, you should be using thermal protector spray, as every time you use them, you potentially damage your hair for the... more...high temperatures of today\'s appliances.
Advantages: Makes hair smoother, smells nice, protects! Disadvantages: Maybe a bit on the expensive side - but worth it!
When I bought my ghd hair straighteners I thought I would splash out and buy some of the hair products to match. One of the products I bought was 'Ghd ThermalProtector for Normal-Fine Hair'.
Since I use my hair straighteners pretty much everyday, I think its important to use some kind of product in order to try to protect my hair from the heat of the straighteners since it can be really damaging to hair over time. I was not disappointed with this product in the slightest and am really glad I bought it.
This specific product claims to protect hair from heat from straighteners and hair appliances for temperatures up to 200'c, and it also protects hair from becoming weak.
The bottle is plastic and comes in a metallic bronze/gold colour . The bottle is triangular in shape. On the front of the bottle there is a mosaic type design ...
Advantages: Smells great, non greasy, really does protect your hair, lasts ages Disadvantages: Relatively expensive- no other negatives
Ghd thermalprotector is used to protect your hair from the heat damage caused by styling when using appliances such as a hair dryer or straightners. It can be used before, during and after styling.
It protects the hair from damage by locking its mositure and nutrients into the hair.
This particular pruduct I own is for normal- fine hair and consists of a light weight oil.
To use this product you should spray it on to clean damp hair, prior to drying and benefit from spraying each section individually when drying or styling.
I am really impressed with this product. I have used a number of products for this purpose and this is the only one that I have used that does not make my hair look greasy.
It really does protect you hair too. Since using the products I have noticed the difference in my hair. My hair seems to look ...
Advantages: Long lasting, quality name, improves hairs health when using heat Disadvantages: High price
This GHD hair styling product created as a thermalprotector whilst using straightening irons on hair. I bought this along with my GHD Mk4's wondering how much difference it would make.
I have no doubts that using this is healthy for my hair.
At around £8.45 a bottle, in my opinion it is way over priced. I felt that I was paying for the name 'GHD' rather than a product which would improve the health of my hair after using straighteners everyday.
On comparing this product with similar from Treseme and Lee Stafford, I feel that the GHD thermalprotector is not value for money. Lee Stafford's pink range also has a far nicer smell.
I believe GHD to be an extremely good quality product that is long lasting but it is possible to get very similar at a lower price. ...
