I brought the Konfidence My Babywarma (in blue) for my son when he was 3 months old and we were about to take him swimming for the first time and I have been absolutely thrilled with it ever since, and brought a new one when he outgrew the first.
I brought it from Amazon for £11.50 and it has been worth every penny. Very easy to put on - you lay the Babywarma on the changing table as it folds out completly flat and then lay the baby on top - there are four velcro fastenings, one at the side, one at the bottom between baby's legs and two over the shoulders,so very easy to get on and off. And also to adjust to fit baby perfectly. Although the first time I opened the velcro the sound did make baby jump a bit!! But he soon got used to it.
The opening between the legs is brilliant if you need to change a nappy half way through swimming ...

I wanted to take my little one swimming but she doesn't have very chubby legs so when I went to buy a re-useable swimnappy for her i couldn't get one that fitted round her stomach and legs. I bought Huggies swimnappies for my son when we went on holiday.
We were on holiday in the lake district and renting a house on lake Coniston. I bought swimnappies for my son so he could paddle and play in the water without his nappy swelling up and getting heavy.
The first time I decided to use them I but them under a pair of shorts and t-shirt. The intention being, when we got to the water to take of his shorts so he could paddle in his swimnappy. How ever from leaving the house and making our way the the lake my son obviously weed and I expected the swimnappy to soak that up it did not when i came to take his shorts of they were soaked.
The sim nappies don't soak up anything in my experince. Next time I'm trying a different make. ...
