This camera is a good all round package! It has got a decent picture quality for the number of megapixels and it fits great into my handbag! It takes amazing pictures, and the zoom is a must, especially if you have kids running around and trying to capture that special picture! It also is quite light compared to other cameras I have had to lug around.
The price is also very appealing - around the £150 mark, so you get a lot of camera for little money!
The only downside to this is you have to slide the front bit over the lens that zooms out to turn off the camera, and if you are in a rush it can be a bit fiddly! Also, the battery and memory card compartment can be a bit hard to open....
But like I said, a good all rounder!
EDIT: I'm no good with the technical bits myself, but my partner has just told me it has 3x optical zoom, and it's 4 megapixel (up to 4.2 depending on your shot range) As for the software, I'm sure it came with a Dimage viewer (or something like that) I never actually installed the software, I just insert the memory card into my pci card reader. We have loads of memory cards lying about this house, but I'm 99% sure it came with a 16mb SD card... Enough to store a few pics, but realistically you have to invest in some more memory!
I know someone asked me to let them know if I added to my review, but as of yet, I haven't got a clue how! Sorry!!!!! If anyone wants to point me in the right direction???!!!
