I entered the world of digital cameras for the first time with this modle. I found it easy to use and quickly learnt the basic functions. What was annoying was the instructions are all on cd which I had to print out myself in order to take them on holiday with me to learn more. The camera was the envy of everyone on my safari holiday. Whilst they struggled with large lenses and big heavy camera bags, I just snapped away with my small compact Z2. I would certainly recommend this camera for anyone who travels. Value for money is amazing in comparison to an SLR digital camera and performance close enough for the average user. My only disappointment was on full zoom shots become rather fuzzy, especially in low light conditions.
