Advantages: Small and compact, cheap Disadvantages: nill.
In my opinion, this tuner satisfies my needs. If you need a tuner for messing about at home, or even tuning your bass ready for gigs, then this is the one for you!
There are two ways in which to tune. The Korg has a microphone that is sensitive enough for you to play the bass un-amplified near to the tuner, Or you can plug your bass directly into into the tuner via the jack to jack lead in order to tune.
An easy to read display shows how far your off the mark and shows the frequency of the string in question. The digital display is useful, the three LED's show when the note is sharp or flat.
In my opinion, this tuner is perfect for home use, although i would probably invest in a different tuner contained within a pedal if i were going to start gigging on a regular basis. ...
Advantages: Very easy to use, very accurate. Disadvantages: Quite small, loud noises can interfere with tuning with built in mic.
This is a must for any musician on the move, or simply someone who needs to tune guitars often. The whole thing is incredibly easy to use, with three clear lights that light up according to the note.

The other way is to simply use your musical cable (same type you use for an amplifier) and plug it into the jack socket in the side of the tuner. It will then pick up anything you play.
The small dial alternates between the right and left sides, making it very clear how far you are from hitting the right note. The red lights will turn off and the middle ...
Advantages: Simple to use Disadvantages: Dodgy cd player and obnoxious smell
~~ Purchase ~~
I bought my SP122 at Argos over two years ago along with a compatible and matching Acoustic Solutions SP101 Amplifier, Acoustic Solution SP111 DAB/FM Tuner and a pair of Acoustic Solution AVCS Column Stereo Speakers. I took advantage of a deal that was on offer at the time whereby if you bought the amp, tuner and CD player you would receive the speakers for free.
~~ Set up and Appearance ~~
This is an easy to use and uncomplicated CD unit. It's easy and straight forward to set up and attach to other units. I must admit though, it looked much better in the Argos catalogue than it does now that I have it set up in the living room. It's kind of plain in appearance, there are no fancy glowing lights. There is just one LCD panel that has a back light. The dimensions of the unit are 8cm(H), 43cm(W), 28.5cm(D) excluding ...
