The kp3 is an amazing piece of kit, for producers, DJs, live bands and more. Its touch interface is extremely beneficial as it allows you to put more feeling into the production. But the downside to this is the pad is easily marked and needs regular cleaning with a dry cloth, but this is hardly a price to pay!
The sampling is very easy as the sampling speed is altered according to the bpm which makes everything much easier.
One downside is that you can only apply the effects to everything and not one sample bank at a time.
Another upside is the updates you can download from korg.com, they offer new features and bug fixing.
One thing I would recommend is: DON'T BUY THIS FOR USE ON ITS OWN! its not very good at creating music on its own, it has built in presets but they arent as good as the kp2's.
I do not regret paying out for this little box of wonders one bit. It plays a big part in my setup both live and in the studio.
