Advantages: Full-length, nice key action Disadvantages: Not a real piano!
I use this stage piano in my rock band, barkerhound(.com). It is full length (88 notes) with what I would call semi-weighted keys.
I'm actually a pianist, so my knowledge of keyboards/synths is more limited.
However, as a pianist going to a keyboard I love the action and feel of these keys, there's really something to play against and the responsiveness is nice - not too light.
It has 6 different sound options - Piano, Electric Piano, Harpsichord, Vibraphone, Organ and Strings plus various other functions which to be honest, I don't really go near - I pair this Korg up with a Nord rack (better piano/organ sounds).
On saying that, I will be using this Korg as part of a piano/vocal duo and know that it is light enough to be wheeled about in it's flight case (I'm a girl, the boys I know carry it with even more ease).

Advantages: incredible sounds Disadvantages: you need a Phd to work it!
KARMA -- Now the dictionary term for Karma is "seen as bringing upon oneself inevitable results, good or bad" and perhaps this is the most apt explanation of the KORG Karma as it has good and bad sides to it.
On the good side, this machine sounds bloody fantastic. All of the individual programme sounds are excellent (e.g Piano is faultless, vibraphone and music box are superb and the strings are excellent)
but the real fun starts in the combination files which picks a number of individual sounds and fuses them together, adds a bit of Karma magic and hey presto it sounds incredible!!!!!!!!!! Remember the KARMA is run off of the same engine that powers the TRITON so you know you're getting top class sounds. You then have a plethora of realtime controls (12 in total) all of which can be programmed so you can add effects, effect ...

Advantages: Light, Portable, Compact, User Friendly, Easy setup, works on all platforms Mac/PC Disadvantages: collects dust very easily, so keep cleaning, doesnt work well with vista
The Korg padKontrol provides a powerful array of hands-on MIDI control and includes professional drum software. In my opinion the Korg padKONTROL adds another dimension beyond traditional keyboard control for incredibly expressive and versatile pad control. In addition to accessing drum sounds and samples the padKONTROL can also control soft synths, effects, and digital audio workstation transport controls as well as trigger loops and video clips. I use the padKontrol with Ableton Live which from my point of view is the best combination of software and hardware for all your producing needs. The assignable X-Y touchpad provides real-time, natural-sounding flam?s and rolls while 16 great-feeling illuminated trigger pads and assignable knobs give all the control you need. Each of the 16 pads on the Korg padKONTROL Controller can be ...
The Korg M3 88 heralds the third generation of Korg Workstations. The Korg M3 88 features a number of innovations distilled from the flagship OASYS including the new EDS (Enhanced Definition Synthesis) sound generator derived from the HD-1 engine design, the advanced second-generation KARMA functionality, the multi-purpose control surface and 88-key weighted action (RH3: Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 keyboard with 4-zone graded action response). Adding innovations such as the new concept of virtualized hardware that allows an even closer integration with DAW systems, Drum Tracks which provide a instant groove to play along with, and the new \Korg Komponent System\" concept that facilitates more flexible system construction, the M3 music workstation/sampler opens a new and exciting page in music making - its the workstation that rightfully deserves to wear the M that started it all. The M3 features a newly developed EDS sound generating system based on a new chip design that was developed in parallel with the HD-1 engine from the flagship OASYS. It takes full advantage of the M3s 256 Mbytes of PCM source material which is a veritable best of from the OASYS. The all-important effect section provides up to five Insert effects, two Master effects, and one Total effect. In addition to great choruses, flangers, phasers, delays and reverbs, the 170 effect types include dynamic processing effects such as compressor and limiter, amp modeling and speaker simulation effects using Korgs proprietary REMS modeling technology, and evocative effects like the Grain Shifter and Talking Modulator. In the end its always about the sounds, and the M3 doesnt disappoint. Stunningly realistic imitative sounds, fat synth sounds, imaginative textures, evocative sound effects its all here. The M3 comes loaded with 512 Programs, and room for a total of 1,664 user sounds (13 Banks plus GM). All sound locations are fully editable (except GM banks), so you are always fr"
