Advantages: Sounds, Easy to use, evertyhing in 1 Disadvantages: slightly dated sounds
...HI I am a prowd and happy owner of the Trinity,
I purchased mine last year.
This synth is an excellent all rounder, which caters for many styles, and has the perfect sound to create Dance, Pop, Classical genres of Music, as well as more Experemental Electronica, or sound track / film work.
Some of the presets on this sound amazing, expecially when you layer them via Midi, it fits in the Mix perfectly, and I use this as my main Synth/Controller keyboard. I use a lot of Soft-Synths in my set-up, and they do not sound any where near the quality of the Triton.., you can also bring this upto date with patches, d/loadable from Korg's website..
Overall this is a mighty Synth work-horse, that caters for the pro's....

Advantages: Excellent sounds, looks, features - easy to use Disadvantages: With new technology emerging all the time, will eventually become outdated

Now this keyboard has been out some time, the price has come down some. For all serious musicians I would strongly advise purchasing one of these keyboards, along with a decent set of headphones....

Imagine the scene: "Dad, I think I need something a little more up market if I am to succeed in my musical ventures." I was 16, just after my GCSEs had made my dad proud for an altogether brief moment. "I think I need a synthesiser."
So, we went to Brighton, to a music shop, the name of which escapes me, but I recall it was run by a man called Matt Hi-tech (his real name, I'm lead to believe) who'd just been on a week-long course to learn all about KorgTrinity synths. I browsed through a black and white jungle of keyboards, synths vocoders, sequencers and samplers, LEDs flashing, LCDs displaying some rather pretentious voice names and I came across the beast. Its brushed aluminium...
