Advantages: quite fast printing
Disadvantages: software + poor scanning

...The Samsung SCX-4100 is a good black-and-white laser printer but lacks on the copier + scanner . i only use it to print off letters or long docements as the pics come out ok but i prefer to use my colour printer for pics. the SCX-4016 i think is better but it costs around £60 more . what i have found with the printer is that it can print up to 15 pages per minute The SCX-4100 is compatible with Linux but not with Macs which is a downside but still It offers good-quality printing, poor scanning and standalone copying which is useful the toners cost's about £40 - £50 That makes the SCX-4100 the bargain choice in my mind the simple spec of the scx 4100 RAM installed :8 MB Interfaces :USB 1.1, parallel Printing technology: mono laser Native resolution: 600 x 600 dpi speed ppm14 ppm Drivers... Advantages: A great all round printer for use on networks - double sided printing is just one of the great features, fast printing, reliable and lasts well with the toner. A fantastic reliable HP printer.
Disadvantages: Large takes up a bit of space - but then many printers are to include all the functions it has.

...Another outstanding laser print er from HP. If you want a reliable black and white printer for an office or for home use on a network- this is an excellent choice. A good quality HP laser jet black and white printer with all the HP basics and duplex printing. Optional added extra paper tray can be worth buying if using a number of different types of paper - for example, plain, letter headed and continuation printer. Simple to use and very simple to set up - you don't need to be technical to set this one up. We have had the HP4100DTN for at least two years and have had no technical problems with it bar a couple of paper jams - which is very impressive. ...I now have ntl's entry level broadband cable services. This provides me with download speeds of 64k and uploads of 32k. This is part of a triple digital package costing £20.99 a month. This includes a phone line, basic digital TV package, and the cable modem. If you pay a touch more of £20 per month, you can enjoy true broadband style of 512k download speeds. Now, all this service is great but it wouldn't be here if I didn't have a cable modem.
