As filter coffee machines go, it is as easy to operate and as efficient in its functions as any. It's not as cheap as some, but hey, it looks good on the kitchen worktop...
Design: neat swing-out, removable coffee filter tray; and an overall design that suggests it's actually been developed by someone who knows what it is to clean coffee machines (none of those pesky grooves that "designers" seem to have a fondness for, but leave the rest of us fuming at the dirt-gathering qualities).
Doesn't drip if you remove the jug before it's finished (hurrah); the hot plate automatically turns off after a relatively short period (good); and because of the steel jug, it keeps the coffee nice n warm... for a bit, at least. You can take the fresh jug with you and it'll still be palatable for a good hour plus, though only at typical filter coffee machine temperatures.
