Advantages: Easy to use, best featured at the price. Disadvantages: None.
...Very easy to use, value for money (at time of writing 300 GBP cheaper on rebelio.co.uk than anywhere else).
Fully automatic bean-to-cup espresso, cappucino and latte - no other machine in this price range, nor many much more expensive, is as featured, simple to use and clean as this one.
From opening the box to first espresso took 30 minutes. Once the machine has warmed up (about 5 minutes), you can have an espresso in 30 seconds, latte or cappucino in just under a minute.
If you are becoming tired of drinking disappointing and lukewarm coffee from your filter machine and want to experiment with latte or cappucino as well as espresso then this machine cannot bettered at the price....

...As a simple, one-function appliance there is nothing to beat a kettle. It boils water, end of story. So congratulations to the manufacturers who have kept the product moving forward with cordless models, jug shapes, colours, limescale filters etc.
I chose this one to match my kitchen and other Krups appliances, basically. It is a pleasing dark brown colour with chrome detail on the lid. It is a nice chunky shape, tapering slightly to the top. It is cordless and the base has a safely short electric cord. Automatic shut-off when it boils, of course, limescale filter on the spout. A feature which was new to me was the protective cover attached to the lid which blocks off the spout when the lid is set to "lock". When you pour, there is a release under the handle which pulls the cover back from the spout.
Set up and maintenance...

...Now listen to me! Krups is a great brand usually. I have to admit that I have never owned a Krups machine but my friend Raymond owns one. I went to his house the other night and he made me a cup of coffee. But here’s the catch: he took an hour to complete the task. He was up to his eyeballs in coffee powder, beans of various sorts, homunculi (as he calls them, really they’re just ornaments) and boiling water. You may be about to scream “but this Raymondo, for what is he famous? How can we trust that he is not just useless?”. To which I would reply as follows:
This is the Raymond who in his younger years cured the common cold using pure coffee beans from Nicaragua and then lost the recipe. He has had a cold ever since. But I digress! Allow me to continue the story. Essentially what I say is this: the Krups machine is not ‘espresso...
