...I have stuck with the Krups range for my last three coffee machines. Three? They must be rubbish if you've needed three! Ah, no. I will explain. First I had the bog standard stand alone Krups filter machine. It has a short squat glass jug and is fairly standard - it never changes over the years. Then I moved in with my boyfriend who had the super stylish version of this, with a much taller, svelter jug. This obviously superseded mine so I jettisoned ...
...The machine has the standard krups mechanism that stops the coffee from pouring out when you remove the jug. This is not flawless and always results in a few drops of coffee being spilt. For this machine that's less of a problem as it just pools under the jug rather than being scalded on the hot plate. The thermo jug does keep the coffee warm, not brilliantly and not for a whole day. ...I do agree with the other reviewer that its pretty bad to not have a few filter papers to go with the product, as I also had to go out and get some, delaying me using it, but overall very pleased with purchase and will highly likely buy Krups again. ... Read review

Disadvantages: Cold Coffee

My husband and I were given this as a wedding present as we are both keen coffee drinkers but I must admit I have been very disappointed with it. It looks great sitting in the corner of our kitchen but that's about all it does these days as we have resorted back to the old faithful kettle. No matter how many times I make the coffee it is never very hot in fact it verges more on cold than hot! It didn't come with any filter papers so I couldn't ...
...i am very impatient!). It is easily cleaned with the stainless steel exterior (which is handy as all it does in my kitchen is gather dust!). It holds 1 litre of water (great if you want 10 cups of cold coffee).
