My Dolce Gusto coffee machine was given to me as a Christmas Present. It is a very stylish piece of Kitchen kit. Mine is black and silver, and i know that there are other colours available, having seen the red one advertised on the TV. The machine came complete with a china cup and saucer and a glass hot chocolate mug. There was also a box of capsules of all varieties, Expresso, Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Caffe Lungo and Chococino. Inside the box was also an order code for a free box of capsules when you enter the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Website and register your details. You can also buy the capsules here too, and more mugs or glass cups, you can also buy the New Dolce Gusto Cappucinno Ice.
The machine is all ready to use when taken out of the box. You have a three height drip tray which just clips in at the height that you want so that you dont spill anything.
The glass water container just needs filling from the tap and after it is turned on it has a flashing green/yellow light which flashes for approx 10-15 seconds and it is then ready to use, You choose the kind of drink that you want and insert the relevant capsule then just press either hot or cold and the water pours thru the capsule into your cup. It makes a delicious cup of coffee. Some drinks require you to insert a milk capsule also, for example the Cococino (hot chocolate) requires you to pour just over half a cup of the chocolate then followed by the milk which gives a beautiful frothy top, just sprinkle drinking choc over the top and you are in heaven.
The capsule are available online at £2.99 for a box of either 8 coffee and milk, or 16 just coffee. I know Tesco also sells them too, and they were £2.49 for the same..
The machine cost £55.99 and is well worth it, My husband did good!!!
