I am incredibly displeased with my Novo 2100 espresso maker which I bought in January 2003. I have had 2 Krups espresso machines in the past, which served me reasonably well, but not only does this Novo 2100 not work, but it has also become downright dangerous. At first it worked fine, but since April it has been malfunctioning. Instead of the coffee running smoothly through the filter, it sprays and spatters hot coffee with a radius of up to 1 yard. A few times when I have been too close to the machine the hot coffee or water was sprayed on my clothes, on my face and even in my eyes and I have ended up scalding my hand. I even considered contacting BBC watchdog and asking them to recall the Krups 2100 as this fault could have serious consequences.
