This is a great coffee machine, which is really easy to use and quick. Basically you fill up a jug of water which clips onto the back of the machine, pop in a capsule into the top, push a lever down, press a button and ... ...cost me £99, which looking at the alternatives seems about normal price. It doesnt have any other snazzy functions, but i didnt want any, as previous experience of messy cappucino makers have put me off.
The main reason I chose this one, however was the looks, it is really small and tidy and doesnt look like any kind of space ship. So it fits in nicely and doesnt look like its going to take over the world whilst your asleep.

The secret of the success is down to the preperation, because the water is fprced at high pressre through the coffee, the favours and aromas are extracted quicky - and this makes the difference.
So then, all good so far. the machine comes with a pack of twelve capsules. One of each flavour so you can sample them all before purchasing your first set.... no here is the slight downside. The capusles are 23p each from the 'Nespresso' site. (www.nespresso.com) not tooo bad, but I think thats a little pricy. However, a quick check on trusty ebay and you'll find that you can pick them up for around 10p each.
The coffee is good, really good, however you'll have to taste them all to work out which one you prefer, but you'll be impressed with the results.... each capsule flavour has a strength of one to ten to help you choose.

Maintanance:
You will need to empty the old capsules out every 12 or so coffees, which is done by pulling out the front section of the machine and taking them out. Simple.
Replace the water in the jug daily, and descale every 5 months.
Over all opinion:
I am really pleased with this machine, its neat and tidy requires very little looking after and produces excellent coffee. You get a little file with your machine which tells you everything you need to know and you get a 3 year warantee.
At £99, its not the cheapest way to get a good coffee but its a cool little easy to use gadget to pop on your counter.
Got this as a wedding present, and boy has it had a lot of use! Didn't come with any cartridges first off, which meant I could not enjoy it for a wee while! Ordered cartridges on E-bay, got a free packet and started making lovely coffee. I always thought these types of coffee machines were a waste, but after I tried it, I was hooked. Easy and fool-proof. Versatile, in that you can make diffenerent coffees. I regularly use the espresso made for other ...
