A coffee lover loves all kinds of coffee, right? I do!
But like me, most of us don't want to have 2 different coffee machines in our kitchen, whether because there is no room, or because there is no comprehension from the wife/husband. In my personal case, my wife doesn't drink coffee at all, and to have both a coffee machine and an espresso coffee machine in the kitchen counter wouldn't sound reasonable.
So when we bought this product, we got all my problems solved. The design is modern, the only colours are black and silver, beautiful. That explains her easy acceptance also. Operating it, is as easy as you can imagine, and just by looking at it, and putting the water is the containers, you'll be ready for making great coffee.
The regular coffee is as good as it can be. But that's the easy part. To expect the same machine to produce good espressos, that's the challenge! But it succeeds! The only thing not perfect is their temperature, especially the first ones, they may get only warm, not really hot as I love. This way, I recommend you to pre-heat all the accessories, and you can easily do it on the machine itself. Putting the empty filter and the cups as if you were making a coffee, you'll warm the cups enough to make the first coffees with the right temperature. Another good thing, it makes 2 espressos at a time!
Of course, if you stick to the basics, you'll get good coffee, but you'll be missing most of the machine capacities. I highly recommend you to read the manual. This book will help you to explore all the range of things this Krups do. Is very easy to read, and bring amazing pratical information, that will help you to be the most renowned coffee maker among your friends.
There you'll learn how to work with the Steam Function, that combined with a Cappuccino accessory, makes perfect cappuccinos, café crème, or whatever you wish!
Another good thing, for those who like the ESE (Easy Serving Espresso) system, this is ready to receive those paper pre-portioned coffee, reducing the margin of error of the coffee maker! I use it only to make decaf to those who don't need the caffeine.
Very easy to clean and to refill with water, attention I wouldn't recommend you to use tap water, coffe my lose qualities.
Although the price is not as low as it could be, I recommend this product very much. I'm a happy user for longer than 1 year!
