Advantages: Just how a tie in book should do it! Disadvantages: Nothing, it is superb.
...Spooks - MI5, not 9 to 5!
This is a book, which I was given fairly recently, and was surprised to find it hasn't as yet been rated and so have just sat down and read it again to review it here.
I love Crime thrillers. I enjoy CSI on the television, as well as Spooks which is a BBC production now into its 6th season, having first been broadcast in 2002 and so this is the sort of book I do enjoy reading at times.

Spooks came about when a British Independent company was given the commission by the BBC. The companies name is Kudos.
The main name title of the series comes about because the colloquial terms for a collection of spies is Spooks, and the TV series is about a group of such spies working for MI5 in London. As I understand it, the series is broadcast in America and Canada...

Advantages: a msut for fans of epic, good vs. evil horror stories. Disadvantages: Does too much in too few pages - could have been fleshed out more.

Given the epic scope of the story, this could have gained an extra hundred pages or more and only given additional satisfaction. Less is more, for me, didn't really work out on this occasion.
That said, this is a glorious exercise in horror/dark fantasy. A wonderfully realised concept, that flies by all too soon. The book is also a wonderful thing just to own , thanks to the high quality of production and a stunning cover from Darren Floyd and Chris Nurse. Kudos to Razorblade Press for another beautiful addition to their range of horror originals. As the only independent horror publisher producing paperbacks in the UK, they're doing a wonderful job meeting the expectations of a demanding public....
