Advantages: Save Money, help avoid nappy rash, environmentally good, padding helps baby to sit up!!!! Disadvantages: Increase washing and no birth to potty system, very padded, big intial investment
..., where you use a reusable nappy and then a separate wrap on top. I have never had a leak using this system. The nappies are still really easy to use like the Ultras, they velcro up, as do the wraps which just go over the top. The nappies have lasted better than the Ultras too as the wraps do not need to be washed every time.
At night they do get very soggy, you can buy additional boosters which just slot into the nappy to absorb a bit more. There is also the going and about issue…what do you do with the nappy? Carry it around with you? We made the decision to use disposables for these times.
Out of all the nappies we tried:
* Cotton Bottoms
* Motherease Sandys
* Motherease one size
* Kushies Ultra
* Tots Bots
The Kushies Classic came out top for comfort and soaking up. They have also saved a great deal of money after...

Advantages: No leaks Disadvantages: They take a day to dry
...wrap, especially useful if you have a wriggly baby.
If your baby is prone to nappy rash ( which lets face it, most are), then using reusables can help prevent this. If you use disposables, then you will know that if you leave your baby for a long periods you can be sure of a red bum when you get to a baby changing room or come off that flight. The great thing about these nappies is that cotton reduces the chances of getting nappy rash.
I actually enjoy doing the nappy changes now!
*** Tips on how to use Kushies Ultra***
1) Remember to wash nappies at least 3-4 times before using
on baby toensure the new cotton becomes absorbent.
2) Ensure no part of the nappy is prudruding out over the waterproof layer, including the liner.
3) Use one-way liner to prevent moisture lingering on baby's skin

Advantages: Save money in the long run Disadvantages: You need a wrap
...I bought several of these to try and I have not been overly impressed. They do the job okay, but start to leak if baby does a large wee or left on overnight. Compared with the Kushies Ultra these nappies are not near as good. When compared with the Kushies classics, they are still not as good. I feel that it is a bit of a bother having to put on the shaped nappy and then the wrap. The booster that came with it was a bit bulky but did help with absorption. If you use the nappy with out the booster it was a fairly slim reusable nappy, which does appeal to some parents. I just was unable to get excited about these nappies, unlike the joy Kushies brings me. I think that using a flat terry nappy is on a par wiht this particular nappy, but will cost you more money than flats. I thought that for a fairly slim reusable, it seemed to...

I know its not even remotely Christmas, but I saw this wrapping paper on the Lego website and couldn't resist getting it so I would definitely have some to wrap my Christmas presents in this year so that they look super cool! I am usually quite good with more
