I recently got my insurance through them and it only cost £17;17 each and that included most sports activitiesincluding scuba diving to 30 meters, rockclimbing and ... ...did not cover was winter sports, for which a premium is required. The level of cover is first class, 10 million for medical expenses, 3000 per person if your holiday is cancelled, 25000 for personal accident, 2 million persoanl liabillity, even 500 if you get mugged. So don't waste time looking for cheaper as you will not find it.

Kwik Fit Insurance???? They actually do insurance???
YES!!!
I was previously with elephant.co.uk (check out my review of them) and decided to do a little bit of a shop around to find a deal and a deal I did find. After going on an insurance comparison site (moneysupermarket.com and confused.com) Kwik Fit came up as one of the cheapest insurance providers.... so I was quite surprised to find out they actually do insurance let alone a good price. ... ...calling about my quote with kwik fit and how i feel about the price.... great! Didnt have to even use my own phone bill! and like cinderella at midnight i had insurance for my car within 10 mins and was fully covered. Bingo!!!
I paid a deposit on the phone which was around £100... still cheaper then elephant.co.uk and I had all mypaperwork within a week. Extrememly efficient i thought. Plus i then got a handy little pack giving me £10 off everything ...

...our two family cars, to Kwik Fit Insurance (previously I was with Privilege Insurance from Royal Bank of Scotland). Funnily enough I found them on confused.com, which is a well advertised insurance price comparison website. Until I received the quote through confused.com I was unaware that Kwik Fit provided Insurance Broker services.
Once I had received my quote I went onto the Kwik Fit Website (www.kwik-fitinsurance.com) and filled in the usual ... ...a friend scheme where they offer £20.00 of your monthly direct debit for each recommended person who signs up, which is always a nice perk. Its great to see that this Scottish company is passing on the good old fashioned Scots penny pinching to the customers, Well done Kwik Fit! ...

The time had come again for me to renew my car insuarnce, Has it really been 12mths since I last done the insurance. I decided to get the good old yellow pages out and phone several insurers when I cam across the number for Kwik-Fit Insurance.
I telephoned them using there freephone number 0800 027 2796, After listening to nice music I was told by a voice that all there consultants where busy and If I wanted I could use there call back service, I decided to use this, So I pressed 5 on my telephone and was then asked to leave a number and my name where I wanted to be called back. Within a few mins they called back (fantastic) The person I spoke to Nick beagan taking me through the quotation.
Quote: There where about 25-30 questions in total, However this only taken about 7/9 mins to complete. Most questions did relate to your car ...

A few years back, i decided that Kwik-fit insurance services was the place i wanted to work. One of the company slogans being "A fantastic place to work!", for the first few months i believed i had made the right choice.
As a customer care consultant, i felt it was unfair that we had to "charge" customers for advising us of simple changes to policies such as change of address or vehicle. Even something as simple as getting a duplicate set of documents cost money! Cancellation of a policy also cost with a "Commission charge" which is detailed in the policy booklets but is it totally necessary?
If you DO manage to get a great deal on insurance from KFIS, which i believe you may well do, just remember to think about the hiddden costs as they will mount up if you make frequent changes to your policy. Also ask about the interest ...
I am now in my second year of being insured by Kwikfit and have never had cause to complain about them, until now, and that's because, until now, I have not needed them. Yes they are cheap, but when it comes to the crunch, I need more than that.
I was involved in a serious accident on the motorway a couple of weeks ago, so serious that the driver of the other vehicle involved is now in custody awaiting a court hearing for a charge of death by dangerous driving.
