Car Insurance Renewal Sorted For Another Year !

Advantages Very competitive quote, and excellent customer service.
Disadvantages None that I have experienced.
As February approaches each year, I prepare myself for numerous incoming telephone calls, masses of marketing post and an overflowing inbox. Why ? Because February is when my car insurance is due for it's annual renewal !
This is then followed by hours online, typing the same information over and over again, or alternatively repeating that same information over the telephone. To make matters worse, the telephone call centres are increasingly overseas, making a simple conversation or statement a real challenge.
Shortly after that I received a telephone call from Kwik Fit Insurance asking if I'd like a quote on car insurance. I'm sure you know the situation, when you just want to get off the phone to a telemarketer, so I said that my insurance wasn't due until February and gave them permission to call back nearer the time.
I'd forgotten all about the telephone conversation until, when on 1st February, I received a call from Kwik Fit Insurance as promised.I was impressed that the caller identified themselves quickly, and asked if it was a convenient time to provide me with an insurance quote. So many callers just assume that, because you've picked up the phone, that you're free to go straight into a lengthy sales pitch !
After taking some initial details, I was given an initial quote slightly higher than my renewal, but competitive nevertheless. The gentleman said that he had some other providers to contact, asked if it would be ok to call me back, to save me hanging on the phone. I readily agreed, and he said I'd get a call back within the hour.In the meantime, I checked online sites, telephone lines and brokers for a more competitive price, but none came close to the £380 that Kwik Fit Insurance had quoted.
Again, as promised, I received another call from Kwik Fit Insurance to see if I had made a decision as of yet. The caller said that he had the authority to offer a discount to offer customers an incentive to switch to Kwik Fit. This discount was in the region of £20.00 - bringing the total saving to nearly £70.00. Although there was no pressure to agree there and then, this was enough to sway my decision, and I agreed to take out the policy.

Ohhhh I'm trying to find insurance for my car and every time I read a review I change my mind about which company to go with. I have several quotes all around the same price so in a way I'm lucky to have a choice....but I'm soooo confused. Great review though!
