I tend not to scrimp when it comes to buying washing powders and fabric softeners because I have quite sensitive skin and so does Zach. I usually buy Comfort or Lenor, to be quite honest. I usually pay around £1.00 for a litre bottle which is not expensive but we have had to start counting pennies over the last couple of weeks so I thought i would give a cheaper brand the benefit of the doubt!! Please ensure you do a skin test prior to using this stuff if you have major skin problems!! I would not want to be responsible for any nasty rashes!!!

Kwiksaves Fabric Softener Brand is called Brio. They have around five different fragrances, such as Outdoor Fresh, Meadow Fresh, Tropical etc. (These are examples, not exact fragrance names!). The fragrance I chose was Sunshine.

The liquid is packaged in a yellow semi opaque plastic bottle. The standard design as all fabric softeners. The cap has a measuring device and is also a bright yellow plastic. The 2 litre bottle has a handle to ease use.

The label shows a father and little girl running through a cornfield on a sunny day. Happy and sunny!! Get it!!

The liquid itself is pale yellow and has a consistency of thick and creamy milk. It is not really runny like some cheaper fabric softeners.

The smell is very intense. I have used the fragrance for three washes and my house is full of the smell of fresh washing. It smells so clean, it is lovely. You can smell the fragrance on the clothing when dried too which is a bonus as sometimes the clothes are left smelling of nothing! The clothes are drying soft too. I am having to use my radiators to dry today as it is raining and usually I expect them to dry a little crisp!! Not today!!

To describe the smell I am going to have a few difficulties, I think. I will do my best!! It smells flowery but there is no headiness. It is a very fresh. I have just asked my other half to have a sniff and he reckons it smells of Sweet Peas!

The fabric Softeneer is suitable to use for hand washes, twin tubs and automatics! For automatics, simply add 1 capful to the drawer dispenser unit.

It is recommended that you do not pour directly onto fabrics but it can be used diluted. To use with a handwash, use only one third of a capful in 5 litres of water!

I am very impressed by the liquid. For a two litre bottle I paid only 69p on half price offer but at full price of £1.38, I still think it is excellent value!!

Thanks for reading.

Kerry xx
