Advantages: Small, light, good quality, cheap Disadvantages: None
...The Finecam S3 by Kyocera Yashica is one of the best value digital cameras on the marke, and I should know...I work in a camera shop!. The front of the camera is the size of a credit card and boasts an amazing 3 megapixel ccd and 2x optical zoom. The finecam has a movie mode to take bursts of video and is supplied with rechargble batery and card reader. The camera stores photos on the brand new MMC/SD format widely used in new digital cameras, MP3 players and mobile phones. This camera is currently selling for around £450 and is supplied with a leather case, 16 and 32mb memeory cards. All in all this is an excellent little camera which takes superior quality prints, I can't fault it.........well done Kyocera....

Advantages: snazzy looks, quite simple to use and good value for money Disadvantages: fiddly and scratches easily
...This camera is highly stylish and you no doubt will be the envy of everyone you know, everybody will be constantly asking details and before you know it, a new craze will have started and all thanks to you!! The only problems i have found are the twist mechanism is only supposed to work one way, so if anybody else needs to borrow it, you can rely on it being twisted the wrong way!! Overall though this product is definatly one of my top cameras! Now the technical stuff...3.2 mega pixels, 3x optical zoom, 2x digital zoom, 15mm slim body, 3.5 frames/sec, VGA 30fps movie with sound, continous AF, it also includes many different camera settings such as black&white, antique and many more...

Advantages: Picture Quality, Ease of Use, Small Size Disadvantages: Auto Focus in Dim light, Slow to write to memory
...that makes Contax cameras.
I do have 2 main niggles with the camera.
1. The autofocus is not very good in dim light and by that I mean indoors.
2. the camera can be slow (especially after being used to 35mm SLRs) to take multiple pictures (up to 5 seconds between shots) due to the time taken to write to the memory card. I suspect this is common of all digital cameras. This is especially noticable after shooting a video sequence.
Overall extremely pleased with the purchase and would buy another Kyocera Camera, except for the fact that the S5 is so good, I probably won't need to for a long time....
