We bought that printer for the office 3 years ago, it was a real pleasure to have&use it. After having the cartridge empty, we had the trouble. I do not remember the amount we were requested but it was so high so we put the printer in its box and sent to the depot.
2 months ago, one of my friends found some cheap cartridges, you may say it has to be cheap as the printer is 3yrs old now, yes you are right. On the photos you can see the printer (if i could upload them here), it look almost dark gray. Now, i am still using it in the office for personal usage, and i am quite happy with it.
Has one cassette and one tray, has usb and parallel ports like many printers. It's a little big than modern printer, 36 x 36 x 21 cm and when you need to load some paper to cassette, that 36 cm becomes more than 60 cm, if you need to use the tray the new depth is about 50 cm.
You cant print sticker, this may have a disadvantage. Print speed was great 3 years ago but now it is a little slower than modern ones. You may have an opinion on the spped if you watch the video I recorded (If i can manage to upload it)..
