...After my negative last printer review, I’ve decided to review another of our collection. The Kyocera FS 680 is my personal favourite. Which is a strange thing to admit under the circumstances!! About a year ago while in the process of finding new printers my boss suggested this one, to which I recalled what the hell is the point in buying it…We need A3 minimum and definitely something capable of printing colour. My boss inevitably ignored my comments and headed straight out to purchase this. Incredibly this printer has since become a god send. Although only able to print A4 and black and white, this printer consistently chugs away day after day without a glitch. Advantages: Super simple data/File sharing across a home network

...computers you have, but could be useful for preventing chiildren accessing things they shouldn't... Also, since the NetDisk doesn't use TCP/IP it's invisible and safe from external hackers... It's all pre-formatted (NTFS is the default file system but it can be formatted to any file system that your OS can support.) - so there's no need to format or partition the drive, unless you want to... It spins at 7200 RPM so data access is pretty quick: - Average Read Seek: 8.9 ms average - Track-to-Track Seek: 0.8 ms average - Latency:4.17 ms average - Buffer: 2 MB / 8 MB - Drive Ready: 7 sec Plus, using the Ethernet 100/10 Mbit/sec connection, the data get's to my laptop pretty quick too ! Advantages: 16 MB Cache, 7200 RPM, fairly quiet, Very fast

...I have 2 of these in My PC. They are working together in RAID 0 mode, which is basically doubling the speed of this drive. In Raid 0 mode half of the data is stored on one drive and the other half on the second which makes the system 2 times faster and unfortunatelly increasing 2 times more risk of drive failure, if one of the hdd's dies all data will be lost. ( I trust Seagate I never had a failure of their drive out of about 10 i had so far ) Average Read is 165 MB/s Average Write is 136 MB/s I am using my PC to edit movies and i am working on many GB of data on each project. Having drives in Raid 0 mode increased a lot speed of many operations. I have a standard Midi Case and i must say that i can't hear the drives, my PC is very quiet all fans are running on 5V...
