Kyocera M-2107 - printer mailbox - 1050 sheets

Advantages: Fast, Reliable, Easy to Feed paper
Disadvantages: It doesnt fit into standard computer desks,

...After my negative last printer review, I’ve decided to review another of our collection. The Kyocera FS 680 is my personal favourite. Which is a strange thing to admit under the circumstances!! About a year ago while in the process of finding new printers my boss suggested this one, to which I recalled what the hell is the point in buying it…We need A3 minimum and definitely something capable of printing colour. My boss inevitably ignored my comments and headed straight out to purchase this. Incredibly this printer has since become a god send. Although only able to print A4 and black and white, this printer consistently chugs away day after day without a glitch. ...is more than any other printer in that class. Black toner cost around £55, color around £80. Standard paper feeder has capacity of 500 sheets (60-105g/m2, A4, B5, A5, Letter and custom 148x210 to 216x356mm), manual feeder takes up to 100 sheets (60-200g/m2, A4 B5, A5, Letter, Legal, Custom 70x148 - 216x297mm). It has unique type ceramic drum (Kyocera patent) which makes it last lifetime of printer. It makes maintenance much easier job (no need for drum replacing) and significantly reduces cost of printing. It's maximum average duty cycle is (according to producer) 15000 pages per month, although it can take much more. It has wide range of accessories improving its (already impressive) performance: duplex unit (a must have in office environment), three additional paper feeders (each takes up to 500 sheets), power envelope feeder, hard... Advantages: Compact, paper feeds straight.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

...I bought this as I had been getting frustrated with having to put in separate sheets of paper each time I wanted to print something off, not a problems if you only want to print off one page but when you're doing about 10 at a time it gets a bit tiring. Also quite often my paper had been going through my BJC-50 and come out with the printing not straight. Very inconvenient when printing off a sheet of labels. I had been wary of buying an auto sheet feeder as I thought it would be much too large and therefore void the reason behind buying a portable printer. However the ASF-50 is a compact sheet feeder as well. The printer sits inside it and then the sheet feeder folds over the top making it still very portable. Also now all my printing comes out straight which looks much more professional. All in all a great idea for making life... Read review
