Standard paper feeder has capacity of 500 sheets (60-105g/m2, A4, B5, A5, Letter and custom 148x210 to 216x356mm), manual feeder takes up to 100 sheets (60-200g/m2, A4 B5, A5, Letter, Legal, Custom 70x148 - 216x297mm). It has unique type ceramic drum (Kyocera patent) which makes it last lifetime of printer. It makes maintenance much easier job (no need for drum replacing) and significantly reduces cost of printing. It's maximum average duty cycle is (according to producer) 15000 pages per month, although it can take much more. ...with PC or Mac. Disks are included with the printer for installation. Of course if you do have XP you will not require any installation disks. It can also easily be networked, just pick the computer you want to attach it to and then access the printer from any other as with any equipment that has sharing capabilities. Price: As this printer has now been within Kyocera’s range for a few years it is possible to pick up second hand printers for approx £40 upwards. To buy it new, again as it has since been out ranked by faster higher performing printers the price has dropped considerably. To give you an idea, we paid £250 for it new, now its price varies between £90 and £120 for the same printer! Advantages: Compact, paper feeds straight.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

...I bought this as I had been getting frustrated with having to put in separate sheets of paper each time I wanted to print something off, not a problems if you only want to print off one page but when you're doing about 10 at a time it gets a bit tiring. Also quite often my paper had been going through my BJC-50 and come out with the printing not straight. Very inconvenient when printing off a sheet of labels. I had been wary of buying an auto sheet feeder as I thought it would be much too large and therefore void the reason behind buying a portable printer. However the ASF-50 is a compact sheet feeder as well. The printer sits inside it and then the sheet feeder folds over the top making it still very portable. Also now all my printing comes out straight which looks much more professional. All in all a great idea for making life... Read review
